The essence of the landscape of this area lies in that special arrangement of the vegetation, in which cultivated fields and areas of scrubland and holm oak forest alternate, like a mosaic ordered to the measure of man. Hundreds of years of careful care have bequeathed a multitude of ancient olive groves, true natural monuments, whose longevity is testified by their large and beautiful bases or tozas. A commitment to the recovery and consolidation of this variety in danger of extinction is a task that in itself gives more value to a product that is increasingly expanded and more popular every day.

La Royeta is located in the town of Asque, municipality of Colungo. These olive trees all come from a single tree and were planted about 100 years ago by the great-grandfather of today's farmers. It gives an oil of excellent quality and high stability due to its high content of polyphenols, it stands out for the combination of an intense green fruity with a very light bitter and spicy. The nuances of green almond and grass together with the fruity touches of apple, banana and fig tree make it special.
